Credits System
Credits are PeopleClaw's usage-based billing unit. They let you go beyond your plan's included limits and pay only for what you use.
How Credits Work
Each plan includes daily limits for messages by model tier and background tasks. When you exceed these limits, credits are consumed instead. You can set a monthly credit spending limit to control costs.

Monthly Spending Limit
You can set a monthly credit spending limit in your account settings. Once the limit is reached, overage usage is blocked until the next billing cycle. This prevents unexpected charges.

Background Tasks
Background tasks spawn sub-agents that work independently. Each task consumes credits based on the model tier when you exceed your daily limits: Flash (5 credits), Standard (10 credits), Pro (15 credits), or Premium (20 credits).
Credit Billing
Credits are billed at the end of each billing cycle based on actual usage. You can:
- View current credit usage in the web dashboard under Usage
- Set or adjust your monthly spending limit in Settings
- Use the
/usagecommand in Telegram to check your current usage

- Use Flash models for simple tasks to avoid using credits
