FAQ
Answers to the most frequently asked questions about PeopleClaw.
What is PeopleClaw?
PeopleClaw is a personal AI assistant platform. Unlike ChatGPT, which is a single model, PeopleClaw gives you access to 99+ AI models (including GPT, Claude, Gemini, and DeepSeek), 21 built-in skills for specialized tasks, and a dedicated isolated sandbox environment with code execution, file generation, and web browsing capabilities. You can use it through Telegram or the web dashboard.
How is PeopleClaw different from ChatGPT?
Key differences:
- Multi-model access — Switch between 99+ models from multiple providers, not just one
- Isolated environment — Each user gets their own Docker sandbox for secure code execution
- Skills system — 21 specialized skills for documents, research, finance, and more
- Telegram integration — Full-featured AI assistant right in Telegram
- MCP marketplace — Extend with community tools
What models are available?
99+ models across 4 tiers: Flash (free, ~14 models), Standard (~35 models), Pro (~20 models), and Premium (~5 models). Models include GPT-5, Claude Opus, Gemini Pro, DeepSeek, and more. See Model Tiers for the full list.
Can I switch models mid-conversation?
Yes! Use /model [name] in Telegram or the model dropdown in the web dashboard.
The new model picks up the conversation context seamlessly.
What happens when I hit my daily limit?
When you reach your daily message limit, you can continue using credits for additional messages. If you have a monthly spending limit set, usage stops when that limit is reached. Flash models are always unlimited and free on all plans.
How do credits work?
Credits are a pay-per-use system for usage beyond your plan's included limits. Each model tier has a different credit cost (Flash: 0, Standard: 3, Pro: 25, Premium: 150 per message). You can set a monthly spending cap. See Credits System for details.
Can I use PeopleClaw on multiple devices?
Yes. Your account works across all devices. Use the web dashboard on any browser (desktop, tablet, mobile) and Telegram on any device. All data syncs automatically.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes. Each user gets an isolated Docker sandbox environment. Your conversations, files, and data are completely separated from other users. We don't read your conversations, train on your data, or share it with third parties. See Security & Privacy for details.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard Settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
What is the refund policy?
We offer a 7-day refund guarantee. If you're not satisfied within 7 days of purchase, request a full refund — no questions asked.
How do I link my Telegram and web accounts?
Two ways:
- From web: Dashboard Settings > Channels > Connect Telegram > get code > send
/link CODEin Telegram - From Telegram: Send
/weblogin> click the button to auto-login to the web dashboard
See Account Linking for step-by-step instructions.
What are skills?
Skills are specialized tools that extend your AI assistant's capabilities. PeopleClaw includes 21 pre-installed skills for document generation (PPTX, XLSX, DOCX, PDF), research, data analysis, financial modeling, and more. See Skills System for the full list.
What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open protocol that lets AI assistants connect to external tools and data sources. PeopleClaw's MCP marketplace lets you install community-built tools to extend your assistant's capabilities. See MCP Servers for details.
Do you support file upload and download?
Yes. Upload images, documents, spreadsheets, and code files for AI analysis. The assistant can also generate files (PPTX, XLSX, DOCX, PDF) and deliver them directly in chat. On Telegram, files are sent as attachments. On the web, files are available in the Files section.
What languages are supported?
The AI assistant can communicate in any language supported by the underlying models — which includes most major
world languages. The interface is available in English and Chinese. You can set your preferred language with
the /lang command.
