PeopleClaw can reply with voice messages using text-to-speech (TTS), perfect for hands-free listening.
Toggling Voice Replies
Use the /voice command to toggle voice replies on or off:
/voice— Toggle voice mode (on/off)
When voice mode is enabled, the assistant sends both a text message and a voice audio file for each response.
How It Works
PeopleClaw uses Edge TTS (Microsoft's text-to-speech engine) to generate natural-sounding voice responses. The voice is selected automatically based on your language preference.
Voice Input (Telegram)
On Telegram, you can also send voice messages to your assistant. The assistant will:
- Transcribe your voice message to text
- Process the transcribed text as a regular message
- Reply in text (or voice, if voice mode is enabled)
Tips
- Voice mode works best for shorter responses
- You can send voice messages to the assistant on Telegram even without voice mode enabled
- Voice replies are available on all plans
